YLC will continue to mark its 25th anniversary with celebrations throughout 2006. A special day of learning for all is planned for September. Stay tuned for more details. VOLUNTEER HONOURED

YLC tutor, Pat Lafrenière was honoured at the Gala Appreciation 2006 dinner, April 29th, along with other individuals who generously volunteer their time to their communities. She was nominated for her dedication to tutoring— at times as many as four students. The difference one volunteer can make is phenomenal!

YLC is producing a series of easy-to-read booklets about legal topics. Information on wills, health care, and labour standards will be available in the fall. A tutor guide and a accompanying student book will be available in hard copy and on the YLC website.
