To celebrate Book Week 2007, Brome Lake Books and YLC are hosting children's author, Robert Heidbreder, November 23rd, at 7 p.m. Mr. Heidbreder has enchanted children with his joyful poems and rhymes for more than two decades. An elementary school teacher, he believes that children's love of silly and absurd combinations of words makes them natural poets. His books include Eenie Meenie Manitoba, Don't Eat Spiders, I Wished for a Unicorn and, most recently, Drumheller Dinosaur Dance. Come out and support literacy.
Cost: $5 per adult, $2 per child.
Spread the word!

YLC cards would make great stocking stuffers. Buy your favourite for $2 or 4 for $6. |
