• LVQ Annual General conference October 25th, Montreal (see article page 5). Tutors encourage your students to attend.
  
  
• YLC Annual General Meeting will be held Oct. 30th, 5-7 pm. Refreshments will be served. A special presentation will be made.

PGI golf tournament

The Quebec English Literacy Alliance (QELA) is hosting their third annual PGI Golf Tournament on September 25, 2008.

The tournament will be held at the lovely Le Diamant Golf Club in Mirabel. www.golflediamant.com

There will be a reception including a meal, music, prizes and an opportunity to participate in a silent auction. Additional information and registration forms may be found on the QELA website at www.qela.qc.ca

Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an
impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather
frail and, with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath.

This made him a - super calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.
