  • The first Board meeting of the year is scheduled for Sept. 11th, 9:30 am.

  • Townshippers’ Day be held in Sutton) is Saturday, Sept. 20th. If you would like to volunteer to (wo)man the booth, please contact the office.

  • LVQ Annual General conference October 25th, Montreal (see article page 5). Tutors encourage your students to attend.

  • YLC Annual General Meeting will be held Oct. 30th, 5-7 pm. Refreshments will be served. A special presentation will be made.

PGI golf tournament

A man and a bear reading a bookThe Quebec English Literacy Alliance (QELA) is hosting their third annual PGI Golf Tournament on September 25, 2008.

The tournament will be held at the lovely Le Diamant Golf Club in Mirabel. www.golflediamant.com

There will be a reception including a meal, music, prizes and an opportunity to participate in a silent auction. Additional information and registration forms may be found on the QELA website at www.qela.qc.ca
